Since owner and president, Jim Rash, founded the company nearly 15 years ago, Liberty’s team has been applying their understanding of wool characteristics, natural dyes and knotting techniques to handpick the best quality rugs in the world. The qualities of our rugs, along with our affordable prices, make our rugs a valuable investment and treasure that will last for generations.


Our History

Jim Rash, founder and president of Liberty Oriental Rugs, has been involved with the buying and selling of fine hand-made rugs for 25 years. He is the second generation of business within his family. After coming to the U.S from Pakistan, Jim established Liberty, which has been serving the trade since 1991.  He has been applying his thorough understanding of oriental rugs and the trade to create a highly credible and recognized business.


Our Products

Our team travels overseas to handpick the best rugs from the countries of India, Pakistan, China and Iran. The rug styles that we carry include hand knotted, hand tufted, hand hooked and needlepoint.
